Badges of the British Navy
Ruby was one of Portsmouth's longest serving Landlady serving for over 4 decades. Ruby ran a tight ship and collected over 600 Naval Cap Band's and Badge's given to her by her Patron's to adorn her Pub 'The Royal Standard which in 1961 had bare wall's. Ruby was respected within the Licensing Trade and by many of her Patron's.
The Royal Standard affectionatly and simply known as Ruby's by it's Staff, Patron and Sailors worldwide has at present approximately 350 Ship Badges on display along with Cap Bands and Regimental/Naval Wall Shield's.
